Hi all, the Parallel XZ just reached usable state so if you want to take advantage of parallel LZMA compression, please give it a try before its inclusion into Fedora.

E.g. file is split to parts of the size of the dictionary for given compression level (8MiB for default -6 compression) and then runs compression itself in as many threads as your system allows.
