Hello Brian, Welcome to fedora! ... but I guess you've been using fedora for a while!
I'm relatively new as a packager myself, but I can give you some pointers: The official Fedora matrix space can be found here: #fedora-space: fedoraproject.org All you gotta do is get there with your favorite Matrix client and you should be able to see many channels that you can join. As far as packaging goes, I'd say find a subproject/SIG that you like in fedora, you can find the SIGs here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Category:SIGs Sometimes they have an IRC channel, or a matrix chatroom, introduce yourself and they might be able to help you find something to help with. Or, if you just have some packages you like, get your feet wet by looking at the package files (For example: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/lutris) and play with it on your own computer for a bit. But instead of going in too deep with the explanations, you should probably take a look at this: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Joining_the_Package_Maintainers/ Some good mailing groups to join is the devel group ( https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/de...@lists.fedoraproject.org/) and the packaging group ( https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/packag...@lists.fedoraproject.org/) but honestly, there are many mailing lists. Good luck, and have fun!
