Did you run the system-config-services from a terminal or from a gui? If from a terminal, was there no stdout and/or stderr output? It's
possible the selinux comment is affecting your ability to run the
system-config-services as root. Try disabling selinux temporarily and
then running system-config-services.

1) I ran it both from the gui and from the terminal.
2) No stdout nor stderr outputs
3) Disabling or Enabling SeLinux has no effect.

I have found that running this program hangs. It leaves
running processes as follows:

root 11966 0.0 0.0 2044 616 ? S 11:11 0:00 strace -o system.log system-config-services root 11967 0.0 0.2 17084 4400 ? S 11:11 0:00 system-config-services root 11968 0.0 0.0 5988 1300 ? S 11:11 0:00 /usr/sbin/userhelper -w system-config-services root 11971 0.0 0.8 85940 18128 ? S 11:11 0:00 /usr/bin/python /usr/sbin/system-config-services

I have to kill these processes before I can run it again. I just cannot figure out what is hanging it. I did an strace on the program and saw nothing really
significant. I tried to send the attachment but the email system says it is
too large - so I cannot add it in this message.
