The whole point of having this many mirrors is so that the
horde-generated traffic will not bring down the servers.
This won't be any worse than a new version day. In fact, it will affect
the servers even less, because not everyone will know exactly when the
updates will appear (not to mention a fairly large percentage of people
who will err on the side of caution and not update for a few days/weeks
until they hear all-clear reports from the early updaters)
