Seems like after a lot of use of the Live image (using KDE if that's relevant) on a USB disk with the overlay enabled, errors seem to accumulate.
Errors range from being unable to start KDE, to seemingly random kernel errors. I made a Live USB for a friend, and they've been the one using it and experiencing problems.
