They refer to an update or release of a number which contains a non-zero after the decimal point. An update from, say, 5.4 to 5.5 would be a point update, whereas an update from 5.4 to 6.0 would not. 5.5 would be a point release. 6.0 would not. > Thanks - jon -- Kevin J.
