-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2009-8540 2009-08-15 07:16:06 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : bchunk Product : Fedora 11 Version : 1.2.0 Release : 9.fc11 URL : http://he.fi/bchunk/ Summary : CD image format converter from .bin/.cue to .iso/.cdr Description : The bchunk package contains a UNIX/C rewrite of the BinChunker program. BinChunker converts a CD image in a .bin/.cue format (sometimes .raw/.cue) into a set of .iso and .cdr tracks. The .bin/.cue format is used by some non-UNIX CD-writing software, but is not supported on most other CD-writing programs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Pushing the same fix for the problem reported in #439661 as was pushed in Rawhide to release branches. It's the patch from Debian, which changes two lines where the code has off-by-one errors. The patch was reported to upstream, but upstream hasn't made a release in (at least) 5 years. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Aug 12 2009 Conrad Meyer <[email protected]> - 1.2.0-9 - Add Debian's patch to fix wrong file size calculations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #439661 - Calculates wrong file size https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=439661 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
