-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2009-9470 2009-09-10 03:03:33 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : nfs-utils Product : Fedora 11 Version : 1.2.0 Release : 5.fc11 URL : http://sourceforge.net/projects/nfs Summary : NFS utilities and supporting clients and daemons for the kernel NFS server Description : The nfs-utils package provides a daemon for the kernel NFS server and related tools, which provides a much higher level of performance than the traditional Linux NFS server used by most users. This package also contains the showmount program. Showmount queries the mount daemon on a remote host for information about the NFS (Network File System) server on the remote host. For example, showmount can display the clients which are mounted on that host. This package also contains the mount.nfs and umount.nfs program. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Sep 9 2009 <[email protected]> 1.2.0-5 - Fixed incorrect error given when server is down (bz 521638) * Mon Jul 27 2009 <[email protected]> 1.2.0-4 - Fixed 4.1 versioning problem (bz 513496) * Wed Jun 10 2009 <[email protected]> 1.2.0-3 - Updated init scripts to add dependencies on other system facilities (bz 475133) * Wed Jun 10 2009 Steve Dickson <[email protected]> 1.2.0-2 - nfsnobody gid is wrong (bz 485379) * Tue Jun 2 2009 Steve Dickson <[email protected]> 1.2.0-1 - Updated to latest upstream relase: 1.2.0 - Turned off nfs41 support in nfs init script. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #521638 - Bogus error ("an incorrect mount option was specified") when mounting stopped server https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=521638 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
