It still looks odd, though. The srpm contains vhostmd-vhostmd-0.3.tar.gz (note the repeated vhostmd-). make dist on the source creates the expected vhostmd-0.3.tar.gz. Is this intentional? Also, there are no tags in the git repo, but make dist on what appears to be the release commit creates a tarball with a different md5, at least on my box.
