(Sorry for the abundance of replies, I'm just making my way through them!)
I was wondering that Patience, I loved that movie actually. Never the same as
a novel but a good story nonetheless!

The movie "I, Robot" with Will Smith is based on Asimov book. It is part of a
4 book series, they were going to make a movie on the rest of the stories.

I'm 23. Just because I read Feist doesn't mean I know every fantasy/science

not to say I've not had a diverse reading preference over the years however.
I've read some of Joyce's more obscure works, to the usual culprits like Plath,
Golding, Hopkins and Hardy. In terms of current 'fan favourites' - and mine
included - I've read Rowling, King, Rankin, Pullman, Goddard, and yes I've even
ventured into scary teenage girl territory such as Meyer, and loved it. So no,
I hadn't heard of Asimov before now, but that's not to say I've not read a good
few books!

Not to be rude, but how old are you? I'd have thought
everyone was familiar with the ABC's of SciFi/Fantasy Asimov, Bradbury, and
Clarke. Which will start a lively debate as various readers chime in for
everyone from Heinlein to Wells being added to the "Must Read" manifesto
.

So all this talk of Asimov got me curious, as I confess I did not
know who he was. Just checked out a bit about him. Prolific?
Maybe, but what an impressive man.
