I'm pretty similar when it comes to bad memory and books.  I work with some
folks who are also avid readers, and they seem to recall the smallest of
details of everything they read.  I, on the other hand, am lucky if I recall
the major events.

I remember Ray saying on more than one occasion that he has a hard time
answering some list questions, because some folks are just discovering books he
wrote 30 years ago.  So, we're probably in good company (though I'm not
published yet, and don't have the 30-year excuse...I can dream :) ).

I tend to read slow, so remember quite a bit. The wife on the other hand

can forget in a day or two :)

Books to read, and shelves to fill,

Ray's great books, just fit the bill.
