LOTR were good movies, but The Hobbit (I) was quite disappointing. Adding
new characters that made no sense really sucked and changes the story too
much. The White Orc, really?
Made sense to me. In the original book the reasoning for all the monsters
descending on the Lonely mountain was a bit lacking and contrived. Now at
least there is someone who will presumably be calling them to arms.
