I reply to things every so often but generally just listen to what Ray says
 about subjects.

Atlanta, GA USA person here so unless Ray comes to DragonCon I rarely get
the chance to meet him as his book tours tend not to come here.

There, I just KNEW I could resist the urge to re-lurk if I put my mind to
it!

Thanks for your responses, especially from other 'seasoned' lurkers. Troy,
Paul (thanks for your insight into Merchant Prince - I hadn't made the
coffee house connection before, but then again, I've never had a great
interest in history, just Ray's "historical fiction"!), Barbara (sorry, won't
be
at Heathrow on the 22nd, although your 'black robe' reference made me smile
- and I'm not worried about Jimmy, because he's my friend!), Cameron, and
Lani (thanks for the name idea - see below!) - very nice to 'meet' all of
you!

Not to mention my little trek into London on Monday to see you-know-who,
and to purchase a copy of M.E., so that Ray could sign it for me (sorry to th
ose outside the UK)! Ray was rather busy, but I had a very pleasant chat
with Eric-the-t-shirt, Barry, and crydee.com-John. I haven't yet had a
chance to get far into M.E. (although holiday coming up soon, which is GREAT
timing!), but come on John - a mention in the Acknowledgements for both you
AND your lovely wife? That's pushing privileges a bit, isn't it?! ;-) And to
make you all jealous, I actually got to TOUCH John's "Brown Bomber" copy of
Magician. WOOHOO!!!

There, I managed to keep it short(-ish) - well, shorter than my first
post, at least!

Steve De-Lurker.

Aha! Beware I have purchased the services of Jimmy the Hand, guaranteed to
flush out Lurkers. Of course this contract can be annulled after meeting
you at Heathrow, copy in hand. Yes First Edition would be great, Oh not to
mention signed by RF his self

But I'm rather fond of being a lurker, it makes my unsociable self feel
safe
