A big hello to everyone out there.. I've just put down my copy of ME with tears
in my eyes for the end of one of the biggest parts of my life since I was
barely in highschool. I just wanted to say a big heart-felt thank you to Ray
for writing these stories and letting me imagine such a fantastic world and get
to know such wonderful characters.. It has literally defined much of my
creative thinking and passion for stories and games in my life, and I consider
you to be nothing short of a hero in my eyes. I toasted a grateful drink to
your work at the end of the story, with a perfectly satisfying ending- almost
exactly as I had been imagining it since I began imagining an ending to the
series.I also would like to say to everyone on this list a big thank you;
though I may not have said much save for one or two emails throughout the
years, I always read the threads and discussions and it gives me much
entertainment to hear all your thoughts and the series.As for everyone in
Melbourne, Aus, I will see anybody attending the Frankston signing with Ray,
eagerly awaiting for my well-read Magician and Magician's End book to be signed.
Again, this feels like the end of an era, and I'm more than keen to see where
the new adventures and stories take us all in future. Thanks again.
