Well, the Brisbane signing has now come and gone. It was great to hear Ray talk in person. I was very interested to hear Ray's story, where he came from and how he got started in writing. I wanted to hear him speak for longer. I unfortunately got there just before he started speaking so missed out on meeting some of the people from the list. I did meet a fellow in the line that said he was from the list. He was a collector of art and said he had quite a few of the cover artwork. Soon it was my turn. Introduced myself to Ray, told him I was from the list. Introduced my star-struck daughter who has been a fan since she was about eight. She got her photo taken with him. When I went round the second time, I had my photo taken.
Ray, Thanks for the great story you have written. It has engaged me for over 20 years and have have enjoyed every moment of story I have read. I have tried to share that joy with others and meet a few fans over the years. I look forward to the next story you share with us. Michael.
