I just built the system, and didn't get this problem. And in fact; [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/dev/ops4j/projects$ ls ~/.m2/repository/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-jar-plugin/2.1-20060826.162339-6/ maven-jar-plugin-2.1-20060826.162339-6.jar maven-jar-plugin-2.1-20060826.162339-6.jar.sha1 I know this doesn't help when things don't work, but...
