As Apache committers we can now step up some, and help doing the work. Copy out the relevant code from Maven's main branch into the now accessible Maven Sandbox, keep the codebases in sync and try to introduce the changes we want to see. I am really busy the time ahead, and can't see I would manage, but maybe someone else... Cheers Niclas
