Sorry for sending out such a deluge of JIRA messages...
I did a batch change to mark all resolved issues as closed. I mistakenly assumed that a batch change would send out a single message for the entire batch. I see now that it sends out a message for each change. Oops.
Next time, I will know to uncheck the email notification box. :-[ -> richard
