You will need to use this address:

http://felix-lang.org:1116/

and select Documentation then Tutorial.fdoc

This is basically a copy of the old interscript tutorial, but generated by the
webserver
using fdoc format instead. Once the Macros, Binding, and Migration_Guide tuts
are
copied over, I'll be deleting the interscript lpsrc's.

This leaves just a couple of things to migrate... I hope Erick will take a look
at

lpsrc/flx_config.pak
lpsrc/flx_maker.pak

to try to get them into fbuild: I'm not completely sure how to convert
interscript's
representation of the configuration over to fbuilds one.

the other thing to be done is to fix up the way the *.fpc files are generated.
At present they're emitted by interscript. Most of them don't even have any
configuration checks. Probably we should just bite some bullets here
and make a config_linux directory with everything pre-built for linux,
and copy that into the config directory, then overwrite it from the users
personal configuration in ~/.felix/config, the exceptions being fpc files
that are actually generated by fbuild as a result of configuration checks.

BTW: it would be really useful if there was tool that showed what resources
were actually installed. Does this install support gmp? How about LAPACK?
This is not directly related to what *.flx code is installed: that code is
installed
whether or not the underlying libraries exist, it just won't be useful (C++
compile errors most likely).

In summary: we're very close to eliminating interscript.

NOTE: the current fdoc display of the tutorial is rudimentary!
The presentation will be fixed up later: mouseovers, folding tree menus,
frames, or whatever to make it sexy.

NOTE2: Plan for top level web server. What this SHOULD contain is:

a) a rough blurb about something with nice pictures.
b) links to the current Felix installation, download stuff
c) links to fbuild stuff
d) links to account holder's personal web sites, these would be in something
like ~/web directory.

At present, the top level (port 80) server is the installation browser.
This is primarily intended for localhost to browse an installed system.

BTW: Editing docs with this system is shit-hot! Just go SAVE in Vim
and hit Refresh in the browser and its all there. No waiting.
It aint WYSIWIG but it's almost as fast :)
