Kristi,
Sending lots of positive healing thoughts for Martin. I can well imagine how
nervous you're feeling. When you get time, let us know how the little
sweetie is,
take care, Kerry

> His name is Martin, and yes its the same bunny, I brought him in on
thursday because he had started drooling again, which for him is a sign of
more teeth probs. He has an oral abcess, but my boss/vet said she could
feel a small hard kidney. It just so happened the ultrasound doctor was
their so she did a quick check and he has abnormal kidneys and one has
calcification. His bloodwork also shows signs of decreased function, which
often does not show up in the small mammals (ferrets, g pis etc) until very
end stage. So tomorrow he goes in for the abcess surgery and for now he's
on daily SQ fluids and bactrim to support his kidneys. The surgery is
really risky because he is so dehydrated and emaciated but taking the risk
is our only option. I asm soooo nervous. Wish us luck, its times like
these I wish I wasn't both his mom and his nurse.
