article today in NY Daily News about military mascots. there's a website www.militarymascots.com they help military stationed overseas bring back the animals they've "adopted" as mascots. dogs and cats. they bring back animals that will have homes with their military personnel or families. be prepared to bring out the kleenex reading about the different mascots' stories. It costs over $1,000 to bring each animal home. yikes. barbara
