Subject: Re: question bout kittens....

thanks for all the feedback! in the end, someone who was closer to the
kittens took them in, so it was all academic.

mom was a feral who had abandoned them, and when the mother of the
girl/young woman who had them tried to put them back with the mom
she'd have nothing to do with them. this young woman had kept a kitten
from one of mom's last-summer litters and she said it was healthy--but
who knows how she was defining that!

i DON'T know if any of the moms i have have been FeLV vaccinated; if
they had been, there wouldn't have been a question; i would definitely
have allowed cross-nursing...

i'm really glad i asked, tho, because it's like the question about er
docs and other things that come up--better to ask the questions and
get some answers BEFORE the situation arises than during a crisis! so
thanks again....

(hee hee--anyone want any kittens? first litter is ready to go august
5th....)

and tho no one asked specifically, i'll answer anyway: no, i do NOT
have a life outside of the cats! hee hee... i'm on disability (ie, a
member of the idle poor), am home all day, have no human family
members to take care of. and live on the internet.....
