A PCR test which tests the DNA is less tramatic and if done right will give a absolute true reading, the trick is finding a reputable lab to do the test.

I had my Joey tested this way since out of my 6 he is the likliest to get infected since him and Bailey (my +) love each other and are always interacting and occasionlly scrapping (nothing serious Joey just doesn't know how to take "no thanks I don't feel like playing" as an answer). He is negative so I don't worry about the others. I am one of those owners that mixes my positives and negs and in ten years no one has gotten it from Bailey.
