I think Belinda may be talking about Vita B injections.   They are very 
inexpensive, you can get them online, or from your vet.  You give them 
subq.  There's no harm in trying it, it can't hurt and it might help.  I 
sure do hope Ginger is eating by now.  I've been thinking of her and 
wondering how she's doing.
