Is the lawyer you hired well liked with the town officials?  If not find a new lawyer.  It is more important to find one well liked then knowledgeable.  thats how politics play.  You could try to get a city ordnance for being a shelter. but once again that might not work if they don't like you.  Let me know all the terms of your court history.  My mother Knows alot about these town rules, New Jersey though.  I'll try and get as much inside scoop as i can.   Erin
