Seems to me someone who worked with a shelter, (Patti?), posted that they used to add lysine to the water and that the rate of illness went down presumably because of it.  I've tasted so many supps...  Doesn't lysine have a slightly bitter taste?  I'd hate to have them drink less water because of it.
