Cricket was sick for three weeks before he died.  He
slowly went downhill and I nearly drove myself crazy
trying everything to save him.  I probably drove
everyone here nuts as well.  They were so great and
supportive of me, even after Cricket died.  I don't
know how long Cricket was actually anemic, but by the
time I knew, it was three weeks.  I wish his illness
and death had been more quick and painless because he
did suffer some.
