I only had a problem once with any of my babies after a dental. It was with Madison and it took her a few days to get over the anesthesia. They use something different now but I can't remember the name of it. It is on her chart at the vet's office. The vet I use will send them home with antibiotics and pain medicine if they had any extractions. Also, the vet will have me feed them soft food for about 5 days. They do blood work before they sedate them to be sure nothing is going on they don't know about. I am taking my dog (Mollie) tomorrow to get a dental. I hope this helps.
