I used the clothes pin trick with Fred while he was getting used to
subq's. He would bite me so I put three or four, even up to five
clothes pins on his scruff anf he couldn't turn enough to bit me. He
never laid down but he would sit still and after a week or so I didn't
have to use the clothes pins anymore, now he just sits while I give his
fluids.
