The other thing with the Merrick's is, at least among the 6 or 7 flavors they had available at my pet store, about half of them contained some sort of shellfish (Crab, Crawfish or Lobster).
My wife is severely allergic to shellfish and we don't bring any into the house, so that ruled out about half of what they had available right up front.
