If you can get a tube of Nutrical from your veterinarian, it will work as a
food replacement until he/she figures out what is the main problem. It is
designed for animals that are 'off feed'. It also has good levels of
B-complex vitamins that will help to stimulate their appetite.

They will usually eat it voluntarily, but if not, you can load it into a 3cc
syringe and put it in their mouth. If you can get 3cc down them a couple
times a day, they will be getting most of the nutrients they need.

Good luck, and I hope the blood workup reveals what problems you are dealing
with.

Subject: [Felvtalk] Both quit eating at the same time

I have 2 cats with leukemia. They both quit eating about a weekago. I could
get one jump started w/baby food. But this isn't working this time. Itookone
to the vet yesterday (the one that I can touch. We left w/Calavamox,
Prednisone and Cyproheptadine. He also gave Sandy a B-12 inj yesterday. But
he's still not eating today. Of course the vet said bring him back before
Fri. if he didn't start eating. What he did yesterday was superchem(?), CBC,
Urinalysis. Any ideas about what I can do?
