My Tucson has had a couple of bouts of very low white blood count. When that's happened, I've known something was up cause she turned up her nose at food-not like her at all. Her nose and gums were very pale as well and she was just out of sorts. Each time, my vet has done a series of immuno-regulin injections and the count has bounced back up. He says he's used that protocol with a number of FELV+ cats and has had decent success with it...
