This reminds me of a cartoon I cut out and put on my 'fridge.
The planet Earth is sitting on a doctor's exam table.  The doctor stands
nearby looking at the chart and saying, " The bad news is you have advanced
case humans...The good news is they've about run their course and you should
be on the mend soon."
