I'm with you Lorrie. We "opted out" of the hustle and bustle of buying gifts for each other and others in 2008 when Frank was laid off 3 days before Christmas :( Now, we spend time with family and friends and our furbabies but we do not buy into the commercialism that Christmas has become.
