Janet,

I was just telling Jamie about Cessna. Her leg is still lame but her not
eating has become life threatening. I have not been able to get her to eat
nor have I been successful with force feeding. I took her back to the vet
today to have a tube inserted through her neck into her esophagus so I can
feed her with ensure and vitamins to get her strength up. She arrested
during the procedure but the were able to revive her. I've got her at home
now, but she is miserable. She is gagging and panting, but this is the only
way I am able to get any nutrition into her. She has gotten so weak we are
unable to tell if her leg is still bothering her. Her RBC was 29 so it's a
little low but not as low as we expected it to be. I'm also giving her meds
through the tube. I am a basket case right now. I am at work now and have
to keep running home to check on her. The history of the names is because I
have always worked in the aviation industry. I am an aircraft dispatcher, my
fianc is a pilot, and my father was a pilot. All my babies were airport
strays at one time. Aileron, who passed away in November from this dreaded
disease, used to go to work with me when I lived in North Carolina. She was
very famous. People flying would stop into our airport just to see her. If
they couldn't stop they would radio in to check on her. She stayed on the
counter next to the door to the ramp so she could greet all the pilots and
passengers coming in from their aircraft. She was such a hoot. I miss her.
Anyway now we are trying to save Cessna, so say a little kitty prayer for
her.

Lee
