Oh I know. I just don't want people to feel weird about it. I know I'm honest, but everyone else doesn't. I would probably feel a little strange about sending money to someone I didn't know for a supposed emergency fund, but maybe that's just the auditor in me :) I do provide an annual accounting to the EF committee so there is some accountability.
