I have a vet that comes to the house for my dogs.  But I take my cats to a really good cat specialist now, and I don't think my 'home' vet is 'in the same league' with my cat vet.  In fact, none of the 'specialist' type vets around here make house calls.  They are basically just regular shots, check ups, kinds of things.

I have never heard of overgrooming, but I can suggest finding a vet that makes house calls. My vet comes to my house and it actually is a lot cheaper than going to an office, especially with 5 cats and a dog.

As I just mentioned, my cats are not getting along very well.  My positive (DD) has begun overgrooming her tummy and back legs.  Does anyone have any ideas about how to deal with this?  She seems to fight with them all.  :(

I lost my first positive to basically this very same thing.  She overgroomed until I had to take her in.  They gave her some pred.  She picked up a cold at the vet's, and she never recovered.  I don't want to go that route again!

Has anyone had this problem specifically with their positives?

I just got a call.  I am taking in another cat.  I hadn't planned on it, but I'm not going to let him be put down.

I've got to come up with a good name for him ...

Hi all,
I hope all is well...the group is quiet today. I guess no news is good news. Sending good vibes to those that need it.
