I just read this article through the Click2Houston website...I had no idea that the Sago palm (very popular down here in Houston) was hazardous to pets! Our neighbor actually has one of these palms planted within a few feet of our fenced-in back yard where our dogs play... :( Glad I read this article!! There's also a list of other common plants that are hazardous to pets at the end of the article along with a link to the Poison Control Center for a complete list of bad plants!
