Agree completely on the virtualbox image being a standalone download with no Vagrant required. We generate the image using vagrant automatically, but it will go on the website as an ova file for direct importation into Virtualbox. Currently we are using the PPA build. This is meant as a real beginners image so it will boot immediately into a GUI. The docker stuff is next on the TODO list and is meant for HPC use, testing, advanced users and developers! Roughly speaking, we will generate a stable fenics-baseimage which will include as much as Ubuntu base as possible, and then a few extras specced with a custom hashdist file. Then we will have a stable build and nightly builds generated from this base file using hashdist as well. The layered structure docker allows will mean that nightly builds should come in pretty lightweight. Cheers, Jack
