Lawrence made a fix based on sympy that fixes my particular use case (1D derivative evaluation), we'll see how it goes and maybe push it up.
Rob: This is a *local* Taylor basis, not a global one, so coordinate changes aren't required. all the best --cjc On 27 July 2015 at 15:31, Jan Blechta <blec...@karlin.mff.cuni.cz> wrote: > Scientific dependency was removed, at least partly, because of a lack > of Py3 support, see > https://bitbucket.org/khinsen/scientificpython/issues/1/python-3-support > > Now there are also a tendencies to remove SymPy, see > https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/fiat/issues/8/remove-sympy-dependency > > Jan > > > On Mon, 27 Jul 2015 09:16:50 -0500 > Robert Kirby <robert_ki...@baylor.edu> wrote: > > > I am not sure why this happened, other than to eliminate a 3rd party > > dependence.
