I just followed the steps reported on your homepage, found a broken package in the AUR and fixed it. The main work is done in the dolfin-git package (not maintained by myself), which builds the current HEAD (if I am not mistaken), so no outdated fenics version. Now that you mention it: viper is not one of the dependencies of the dolfin-git package, so it can be completely removed from the list (and I will remove the package from the AUR).
