If the tutorial is no longer maintained, it might be worth changing the 
webpage, as on the 1.6.0 documentation page 
here<http://fenicsproject.org/documentation/>, it still directs new users to 
it. The actual tutorial page doesn’t really indicate it’s out of date either. I 
did find it a bit confusing when I first started using FEniCS, and it seems to 
come up on the mailing list relatively often.
