that is really interesting, could you provide me with your corresponding
code (model declaration and your voting function) so I can try to
reproduce this? 

Does this happen in development or in only in production environment?

Afaik it's a file where Ferret remembers the ids of deleted documents
(they will 'really' get removed from the index only when optimizing it).
