Hi Guys:

I run Fixit Clinics where we where we teach people guided disassembly (and
hopefully, repair) of their broken consumer products. It's a fun, interactive,
hands-on activity that everyone enjoys: http://www.facebook.com/FixitClinic

Is anyone interested in having one of these as part of LFNW? In addition to
tables and chairs, we'd need a couple of people who are handyman types good at
troubleshooting; also: a person who is good at soldering. We'd also need local
people to loan tools since I'm flying in and won't be able to bring my tools.

We could promote an installfest angle, e.g. people could bring their old
Windows laptops in for an on-site Linux OS install.

Anyway, let me know if you're interested and I'll help to organize it.

Cheers, -Peter
