"Discrimination is the act of making distinctions between human beings based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they are perceived to belong. " I really doubt "sending big patches" fit the discrimination definition. And even if it did, I really doubt that the push-back from "all of us" you are seeing is because of discrimination, but more about your attitude towards others. Here, Steinar gives a substantiated remark on your code, which could improve quality and speed, which matches the goal of this project. Why not just apply what he did, and give us a better filter?
