When specifying the output channel layout with a trailing 'c' such as '1c' or '2c', the pad filter created silent output files. Leaving the trailing 'c' away resulted in correct output files, but generated a warning that the syntax was deprecated.
The first patch fixes two bugs in ff_parse_channel_layout including an off-by-one and an issue in the parsing helper for unknown channel layouts. The second patch ensures that the channel layout is returned correctly when FF_API_GET_CHANNEL_LAYOUT_COMPAT is set.
