You are right that AVOptions already constrain the payload type. My intention with this check was to provide an additional safety validation at runtime, in case an invalid value somehow bypasses configuration or is set programmatically. However, I agree that if this is already sufficiently enforced, the additional check may be redundant. I will review this further and consider whether this validation is necessary or if it should be adjusted. Thanks again for your feedback.
