A lot of people do not run patchcheck (I personally never do, and given that we fix typo on a regular basis I'm probably not the only one in this situation); I think having it in FATE makes sense from a usage widespread PoV. But it might be relevant to drop the typo code from patchcheck then to avoid the duplication. -- Clément B.
