I should probably note for the record that these toggles don't always/ever work. I was testing on Ivy Bridge hardware and the toggles are "accepted" by the API, but the GOP size doesn't actually adapt. Intel has confirmed that they are broken in the all current releases of the Media SDK [1]. So, be careful.
