Mike Melanson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> added the comment: How about the DosBox (ZMBV) codec? There is already an encoder in FFmpeg. It doesn't support a wide range of resolutions yet. There is probably room for algorithmic improvement as well, which the designers might be amenable to.
